Health

.......Oil dependant for drug manufacture, transport, energy to run hospitals & surgeries, plastics, etc.

By reaching your optimum health you can help avoid illness and maintain a healthier, happier body and mind.  Eating a good diet and taking regular exercise can help prevent ill health making you less dependent on drugs and the health services.

Tips for a healthy lifestyle:-

Think about using locally based complementary therapies - ask us for a list of local practitioners.

Keep fit  -  exercise regularly – jog, walk, cycle. Take up gardening. Finding a "fitness buddy" can help make your exercise regime regular. However you do it, keep fit.

Watch what you eat  -  diet has a key impact on your health and can reduce health problems such as cancer, heart disease and much more.

Eat a rainbow - a variety of different coloured fruit and vegetables every day will help ensure you are getting a well balanced mixture of your essential 5 portions.

Use non-petrochemical hygiene products - this encourages the growth of petrochemical free industries.

Go on a first aid course - first aid is a very useful skill to have and it can help you to understand more how your body works  – another way to help you stay healthy.

Keep a herbal first aid kit - for example, an Aloe Vera plant will treat minor burns, including friction burns.  Arnica can help with bruises and Calendula will hasten healing.
